Veterans Object to UFC Sponsorship

We urge the U.S. Marine Corps to renounce its support of the UFC immediately.

Military veterans call for an end to the military's sponsorship of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Veterans say taxpayer money should not be used to support a cage fighting company that has tolerated rape jokes, homophobic slurs and sexually explicit remarks that are demeaning towards women. The UFC is "Unfit for the Corps."

  2. what about the fact that there are a shit ton of UFC fighters that were once former Military, Like...
    Brian Stann-Marines (Silver Star Recipient)
    Randy Couture-US Army
    Jorge Rivera-US Army
    Brandon Vera-Air Force
Tim Kennedy-US Army (Green Beret & Bronze Star)
Liz Carmouche -US Army (Female, Homosexual)
    Tim Creduer-Navy
    Damien Stelly-US Army
    Chris Leben-US Army

    to name a few...

if the UFC is so terrible then why do so many who have served go there to fight. also let's be honest where the military has a great code of brotherhood & of camaraderie it's not exactly real open minded or equal when it comes to gays or women or any of that type of shit. so I mean yeah these guys are fighters, they're not truly warriors since they don't fight to the death but a lot of UFC fighters were Warriors in the Military.
